A clogged drain can certainly lead to a lot of disruption to the running of your household. Here are some helpful ideas to help keep your drains flowing freely:

In the Kitchen
Avoid pouring greasy substances down your sink – these substances cause fat to build up within the pipes, decreasing their carrying capacity.

In the Bathroom 
Regularly clean your bathroom, sinks & toilets with disinfectant. Remove any build-up of hair that may get caught in plugholes, and avoid flushing objects down the toilet that could cause a blockage.

Clogged Drain

First, try a plunger to get rid of the clog. If this does not work, you may want to try a plumber's snake. Drain cleaners frequenlty work, but exercise caution. Drain cleaners have strong chemicals that can damage to pipes. Carefully check the instructions on the albe before you pour any drain cleaner into your sink.
